Abstract:Objective To study the analgesic and sedative literature of mechanically ventilated patients, and to analyze the current research situation of this topic in the medical field. Methods Based on the PubMed database, all published literatures were searched and analyzed(the search deadcine was April 5th,2018).The frequency of occurrence of MeSH terms was statistically analyzed.SPSS statistical software was utilized to cluster the word matrix. The statistical results showed the contemporary research hotspot of analgesia or sedation strategy for mechanically ventilated patients. Results There were 62 articles associated with analgesia or sedation strategy for mechanically ventilated patients, altogether 34 MeSH terms were found in the PubMed database, and 34 terms were clustered into six groups according to their cooccurrence. Conclusion Six hotspots are adverse reactions for radiation therapy after pneumonectomy, postoperative care of mechanically ventilated patients, pharmacology of hypnotics and sedatives, administration and dose of hypnotics and sedatives, prevention and control of pneumonia, and withholding treatment and nursing for mechanically ventilated patients.
