Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of sequential non-invasive mechanical ventilation in pulmonary rehabilitation of patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).MethodsA total of 80 patients with stable severe COPD treated in our hospital from November 2011 to November 2016 were randomly divided into the observation group(n=40,given routine pulmonary rehabilitation combined with sequential noninvasive mechanical ventilation treatment)and the control group(n=40,given routine pulmonary rehabilitation).Pulmonary function, blood gas analysis indexes and quality of life were compared between the two groups.ResultsAfter treatment, the levels of FEV1/FVC, PaO2,PaCO2,pH and RR in the observation group were significantly better than those before treatment, and the improvement was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,QOL score,6 MWD and Borg score in the observation group were significantly better than those before treatment, and the improvement was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionSequential non-invasive mechanical ventilation combined with pulmonary rehabilitation therapy can significantly improve lung function in patients with stable severe COPD and hypoxia symptoms, regulating acid-base balance, improve the life quality of patients and endurance activities, and is worthy of popularization.
