Abstract:Objective To prepare complexes of iron,copper and zinc with complex amino acids,and to study the antitumor and antibacterial effects of the three complexes.Methods The MTT method was used to determine the IC50of the complex amino acids and their complexes on A549and HepG2,and the inhibitory effects of the complexes on Salmonella,Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were investigated by double dilution.Results The IC50of A549were 268.6,200.9,193.7 and 162.8 μmol/L respectively,and IC50for HepG2 were 183.8,132.3,136.8 and 98.5 μmol/L respectively.The MIC of Salmonella were 1.00,0.50,0.50,0.50 mg/ml respectively,and MIC for Staphylococcus aureus were 0.50,0.25,0.25 and 0.25 mg/ml respectively,and the MIC of Escherichia coli were 1.00,0.50,0.50 and 0.50 mg/ml respectively.Conclusion The antibacterial and antitumor activities of the three complexes are better than that of the compound amino acids.
