Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy(URL)and minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (MPCNL)in the treatment of upper ureteral incarcerated stones. Methods From January 2016 to June 2017,72 patients with upper urethral incarcerated calculi were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with URL and the observation group was treated with MPCNL.The operation time and intraoperative blood loss were observed and compared between the two groups. The stone clearance rate and postoperative complications were observed 3 and 30 days after operation to explore the therapeutic effect of the two methods. Results The time of operation and the amount of intraoperative bleeding in the observation group were not significantly different from those in the control group(P>0.05).The stone removal rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group on the 3 d and 30 d after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of MPCNL in the treatment of upper ureteral incarcerated calculi can obviously improve the removal rate of stones and is an effective treatment method.
