Application effect of treatment mode of combination of medical treatment and pension in elderly patients with multiple myeloma

Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of treatment mode of combination of medical treatment and pension in elderly patients with multiple myeloma.Methods A total of 62 elderly patients with multiple myeloma treated in our department from January 2015 to December 2017 were selected.The patients were divided into the control group(n=31)and observation group(n=31)according to the random number table method.Patients in the control group were given the routine treatment and nursing,while patients in the observation group were given treatment mode of combination of medical treatment and pension.The incidence of complications,quality of life and nursing satisfaction degree in patients between the two groups were compared.Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Each score of quality of life in patients of the observation group patients after 3 months intervention was significantly higher than that of the control group respectively(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction degree score of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment mode of combination of medical treatment and pension applied in elderly patients with multiple myeloma can improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction degree of patients,and has a high application value.
