Abstract:Objective To observe the changes of blood biochemical parameters, blood pressure and Epworth scale scores in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome after continuous positive airway pressure therapy,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of continuous positive airway pressure therapy. Methods A total of 100 patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected.Finally,92 cases were included.By a random number table method, they were divided into treatment group(n=47)and control group(n=45).In the treatment group, continuous positive pressure ventilation was adopted, and the observation period was 30 days.In the control group, routine symptomatic treatment was used. After the end of the observation period, the blood lipids,C-reactive protein(CRP),homocysteine(HCY),and red blood cell distribution width level, blood pressure, and Epworth score improvement were observed and compared in the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the levels of low density lipoprotein(LDL)and total cholesterol(TC)before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the TC level and the distribution width of red blood cells in the treatment group were lower than those before treatment with statistical differences(P<0.05).Before and after treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of LDL,hs-CRP and HCY in the treatment group(P>0.05).After treatment the TC level and the distribution width of red blood cells in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group with significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the systolic blood pressure in the treatment group was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between the diastolic blood pressure levels before and after treatment in the treatment group and those before treatment in this group(P>0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in blood pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the blood pressure levels of the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in Epworth sleepiness scale scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The scores of Epworth sleepiness scale after treatment in the treatment group were lower than those before treatment in this group, and the scores of Epworth sleepiness scale after treatment in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion Continuous positive pressure ventilation obtains good effects on blood pressure control, improvement of myocardial ischemia, lipid metabolism and quality of life in patients with obstructive apnea-hypopnea syndrome.
