Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of cancer-induced fatigue on the quality of life of the patients with gynecological cancer during chemotherapy.Methods A total of 118 patients with gynecological malignancy who were hospitalized from June 2014 to June 2017 were selected for a questionnaire survey,so as to analyze the correlation between cancer-related fatigue and quality of life.Results Physical fatigue scored was the highest,followed by emotional fatigue and cognitive fatigue.The overall health status of patients during chemotherapy was poor.There was a significant negative correlation between cancer-related fatigue and overall health (P<0.05).There was a significant negative correlation between cancer-related fatigue and various functional areas of quality of life (P<0.05).Cancer-related fatigue was significantly and positively correlated with various symptom areas of quality of life(P<0.05).Cancer-related fatigue was significantly and positively correlated with sleep disorders and economic conditions (P<0.05).Conclusion There is a correlation between cancer-induced fatigue and quality of life during chemotherapy in the patients with gynecological cancer.The more severe the cancer-induced fatigue,the worse the quality of life.
