Abstract:Objective To analyze the drug use in outpatients with hypertension.Methods From January to December 2017,132 383 outpatient prescriptions of patients diagnosed with hypertension and treated with hypotensive drugs in our hospital were collected for statistical analysis of the use of antihypertensive drugs and the treatment plans options.Results Among 132 383 patients′medication prescription,the proportion of patients aged 59 to 79 was the largest,which was 44.30% (58 652/132 383).Among them,the proportion of male patients was 59.43% (78 677/132 383),which was higher than female patients of 40.57% (53 706/132 383).Among the 9 types of antihypertensive drugs used in the outpatient service,the frequency of drugs use in the top three were calcium channel blocker(CCB),angiotensinⅡreceptor antagonist(ARB)and β-blockers.In addition,Amlodipine(24.45%),Metoprolol(12.82%)and Irbesartan(9.56%)had the highest rates of use in similar drugs.The use of single drug treatment accounted for 43.12%,and combined use of two or more drugs accounted for 56.88%.Conclusion The kinds of antihypertensive drugs used in our outpatient and the antihypertensive treatment schemes are basically in line with the Chinese guidelines for hypertension prevention and treatment and the requirements of individualized treatment programs.
