Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between nasopharyngeal carcinoma in Epstein-Barr(EB) virus positivity and regulatory T cells and to explore its reference value for the clinical diagnosis and prognosis of the disease.Methods 35 patients with EB virus positivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma admitted in our hospital from April 2015 to February 2017 and 40 healthy participants during the same period undergoing physical examinations in our hospital were selected as research objects.They were divided into observation group and control group respectively.Fasting venous blood was collected from the two groups to detect the level of regulatory T cells.The difference between the detection results of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with EB virus positivity and healthy participants was compared,and the change of regulatory T cell levels before and after treatment were observed.Results The levels of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg and CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg/CD4+T of regulatory T cells in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group with significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg and CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg/CD4+of regulatory T cells in the observation group were lower than that in the before treatment,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence and development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in EB virus positivity may cause the change of regulatory T cell levels in patients.By detecting the level of regulatory T cells,it to a certain extent can reflect the patient′s condition and the recovery after treatment,which has an important reference value for the clinical diagnosis and prognosis of the disease.
