Abstract:Objective To study the effect of different tidal volume ventilation strategies on the prognosis of children with acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome. Methods 94 children with acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome were enrolled in our hospital. All subjects were enrolled from July 2015 to July 2017,and random numbers were used. The patients were divided into the study group and the control group,47 cases in each group. The control group of children were treated with 10-12 ml/kg tidal volume for mechanical ventilation, the observation group of children were treated with 6-8 ml/kg tidal volume. The plasma ventilation time, mortality, survival time, hospitalization time and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.ResultsAfter 4 days of ventilation, the levels of pH,PaCO2and PaO2in the two groups were better than those in the initial ventilation(P<0.05).After 4 days of ventilation,ventilation,pH、PaCO2、PaO2and the incidence of adverse reactions was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The plasma ventilation time, mortality, survival time, hospitalization time in the study group lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of mall tidal volume ventilation strategy in acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome in children is better, should be recommended.
