Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of atorvastatin in different doses in the treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD)plus heart failure(HF),and to discuss the optimal dose of treatment. Methods 86 patients wich CHD+HF treated in our hospital from April 2013 to April 2015 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, each with 43 cases.Patients in one group were given 20 mg of atorvastatin on the basis of routine therapy as the low-dose group;while patients in the other group were given 40 mg of atorvastatin on the basis of routine therapy as the high-dose group. The cardiac function, levels of serum markers,6M WT,and results of follow up of patients in both groups were observed. Results There was no difference in cardiac function between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the LVEF,LVEDd,and LVESd in the high-dose group was significantly superior to that of the low-dose group respectively,P<0.05.There was no differences in serum markers or 6M WT between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,NT-proBNP,and 6M WT in the high-dose group was significantly superior to that in the low-dose group respectively (P<0.05).There were 9 cases of recurrent HF in the low-dose group, and the rate of recurrence was 20.93%;while there were 3 cases of recurrent HF in the high-dose group, and the rate of recurrence was 6.98%,which was significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Oral administration of 40 mg atorvastatin per time is more effective in treatment of CHD+HF,which can significantly enhance the cardiac function and reduce the inflammatory reaction and rate of recurrence with high safety, thus is worthy to be promoted.
