Abstract：Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical effects of dexmedetomidine on the dysphoria at the anesthesia recovery period in the pediatric laparoscopic surgery. Methods 62 children who were admitted to our hospital and conducted laparoscopic surgeries from June 2013 to October 2015 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group.Patients from control group were given conventional anesthesia and patients from observation group were given dexmedetomidine by venous injection before anesthesia induction.The anesthesia and dysphoria situation of patients from both groups were observed. Results Dysphoria and respiratory adverse events during anesthesia recovery period in observation group were obviously less than those in control group，the duration and grading of dysphoria was significantly shorter and lower than that of control group，sedation grading was significantly higher than that of control group and the differences had statistical significance（P＜0.05）；the differences of anesthesia recovery time and extubation time of patients from both groups had no statistical significance（P＞0.05）. Conclusion The application of dexmedetomidine has good sedation effects in the pediatric laparoscopic surgeries with effective decrease of the frequency and duration time of dysphoria at anesthesia recovery period and reduction of the incidence of adverse events，which has satisfactory clinical application effects.
