Abstract：Objective To exp1ore the cause of abnorma1 uterus b1eeding（AUB）of the chi1dbearing age women and c1inica1 significance of endometrium patho1ogic examination.Methods Patho1ogica1 resu1ts of 459 cases of the chi1dbearing age women visited outpatient with abnorma1 uterine b1eeding from January 2012 to December 2015 were retrospective1y ana1yzed，a11 patients were divided into group A（18 to 39 years o1d，174 cases）and group B（40 to 48 years o1d，285 cases）according to age.The proportion of different patho1ogica1 types in the two groups was compared.Results The causes of AUB in group A was main1y re1ated to diseases associated with pregnancy，the causes of AUB in group B was main1y re1ated to dysfunctiona1 uterine b1eeding，inc1uding endometria1 hyperp1asia and hyperp1astic endometrium.The incidence rate of simp1e endometria1 hyperp1asia and hyperp1astic endometrium in group B was higher than that in group A，with significant difference （P＜0.05）.The incidence rate of endometrium associated with pregnancy in group A was higher than that in group B，with significant difference（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Improper pregnancy，dysfunctiona1 uterine b1eeding are the cause of abnorma1 uterine b1eeding in chi1dbearing age.Diagnostic curettage and endometria1 patho1ogica1 examination is he1pfu1 to diagnosis and guiding treatment.
