Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of residual cavity plastic repair in breast conserving surgery for patientswith T2 breast cancers.M ethods Altogether 52 cases of T2 breast cancer patients treated in the hospital from January 2012 to November 2015 were randomly divided into treatment group (30 cases)and control group (22 cases). The plastic repair techniques were adopted for the treatment group in the breast conserving surgery to reduce the residual cavity, traditional breast conserving surgery was taken for the control group, the clinical data of the two groups was analyzed and postoperative cosmetic result was evaluated. Results After 6-12 months of follow-up,total efficiency in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05),with statistically significant difference; No significant difference existed between the local recurrence and postoperative complication rate of two groups (P>0.05);Life quality in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Application of plastic surgery in the repair of large residual cavity should focus on narrowing residual cavity instead of making the cavity closed. And it demonstrates excellent postoperative cosmetic effects and may benefitmore patientswith larger lumps.
