Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effects of different radiotherapy fractionated methods of preoperative concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy for rectal cancer. Methods 60 patients with middle and lowⅡ-Ⅲstage rectal cancer in our hospital from June 2015 to August 2016 were selected as study objects and divided into observation group and control group by random number table, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were used modified short course radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and patients in the control group were used conventional fractionated radiotherapy and chemotherapy.General information of rectum segmentation and sigmoid loop colostomy, tumor drop period rates and adverse effects of patients in two groupswere compared. Results The drop period rate in the observation group was 30.00% (9/30),lower than 68.00% (20/30)in the control group (P<0.05);total incidence rate of toxic and side effect and adverse reaction in the observation group was 30.00%(9/30),lower than 50.00% (15/30)in the control group, the difference between two groupswas not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Both of preoperative concurrent chemotherapy modified short course and fractionated chemotherapy are suitable for rectal cancer patients.Differentways of radiotherapy are used according to different patients, which can reduce the incidence of local recurrence and enhance effects.
