Abstract:Objective To study the intervention of health education on the knowledge of infectious diseases in urban and rural primary school students,and to summarize the influence of intervention on the knowledge of the infectious diseases.M ethods 800 students at 8 primary schools in the Xihu District urban and rural areas were selected as research object from January 2013 to January 2014,by questionnaire survey of the major infectious diseases,infectious disease knowledge needs of studentswere understand and the corresponding knowledge education were conducted,master degree on the knowledge ofmajor infectious diseases were observed before and after intervention.Results Among 800 students,67.50%of students were familiar with the flu transmission channel,only 23.50%of students reported to teachers after infection;31.13%of students thank that school to strengthen infectious disease knowledge education was very important,but 40.13%of studentswere ignored.Before intervention,master degree of basis knowledge for flu,adherence to good health habits,timely isolation and treatment and condition for performance was 64.88%,62.13%,64.00%, 68.63%,with 89.88%,89.13%,90.75%and 94.50%respectively after intervention,the intervention resultwas significantly increased after intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Themajor health educations are involved with the flu transmission channel,incubation period,treatmentmethods,timely report and isolation. The student′s parents shall also take the health education.After intervention,the student′smaster degree on the knowledge of flu is improved.
