Abstract:Objective To explore the combined effect of autogenous iliac bone graft and miniplate fixation in old metatarsal fractures.M ethods Eighty patientswith old metatarsal fractures admitted to the People′s Hospital of Dexing City from April 2014 to April 2016 were divided into two groups according to the different treatmentmethods.40 patientswith restoration and autologous iliac bone grafting were included into control group, based on the abovemeasures, 40 patients were given miniplate fixation in addition and were included into the study group. The treatment effect and the amount of bleeding, drainage volume, fracture healing time of patients were compared between two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The blood loss of the study group was(308±128)ml,the postoperative drainage volume was(134±26)ml,and the fracture hedling time was (9±3)weeks,which were better than those of the control group[(428±176)ml,(196±31)ml,(12±5)weeks],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For the old metatarsal fractures,mini-plate fixation with autogenous iliac bone grafthas a better effect in fixation and recovery.
