Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application of limited open reduction and internal fixation combined with external fixation stent in complex distal tibial Pilon fracture.Methods90 cases with complex tibial distal Pilon fracture treated by our hospital from May 2013 to March 2014 were collected.According to the order of admission, they were divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group was treated by traditional open reduction and internal fixation, and the observation group was treated by limited internal fixation combined with external fixation stent. The therapeutic effect, the system score of functional recovery of the ankle joint(Muzur score)and the incidence of complications in two groups were observed.ResultsAfter treatment, the excellent and good rate in the observation group (86.67%)was significantly higher than that of the control group (64.44%)(P<0.05).The incidence rate of complication in the observation group(4.44%)was significantly lower than that the control group(17.78%)(P<0.05).ConclusionThe application effect of limited open reduction and internal fixation combined with external fixation stent in the complex tibial distal Pilon fracture is significant, which can reduce postoperative complications, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
