Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of CO2laser in the treatment of early glottic cancer.Methods40 patients with early glottic cancer from May 2007 to May 2015 in our hospital were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, and 20 cases in each group. The control group was given routine surgery, and the observation group was treated with CO2laser.The operation time, length of hospital stay and the incidence rate of postoperative complications in the two groups were observed and the recurrence rate was recorded.ResultsThe operation time and length of hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the amount of bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.01).The incidence rate of postoperative complications in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 45.00%in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The survival rate at the second and the third years of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionThe effect of CO2laser in the treatment of early glottic cancer is significant, which has the advantages of less trauma, less complications, fast recovery and high survival rate, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
