Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical effect of total hip arthroplasty(THA)and hemiarthroplasty(HA)in the treatment of senile femoral neck fractures.Methods240 patients with senile femoral neck fractures in our hospital from January to December in 2016 were selected as research objects.According to the different treatment methods, they were divided into the THA group and the HA group,120 cases in each group. The clinical effect were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe operation time of the THA group was longer than that of the HA group, and the blood loss of the THA group was higher than that of the HA group, with significant difference (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hospitalization time between the two groups(P>0.05).The degree of pain in the THA group was better than that in the HA group, with significant difference (P<0.05).The incidence rate of complication in the THA group was lower than that in the HA group, with significant difference (P<0.05).ConclusionBoth of two treatment methods of THA and HA have better clinical effect and its application should be based on the specific conditions of patients.THA should be applied to young patients or patients who have better physical condition and frequent post-operative activities.
