Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical value of the joint detection of serum cystatin C(Cys C)and urinary retinol binding protcin(RBP)in the diagnosis of early renal damage for diabetic patients.Methods60 diabetic patients with early renal damage treated in our hospital from June 2015 and June 2016 were selected as the observation group, and they all underwent joint detection of serum Cys C and urinary RBP.Simultaneously,60 cases of the healthy people undergoing medical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group, and they all underwent joint detection of serum Cys C and urinary RBP.A comarison was made in serum Cys C and urinary RBP between the two groups to analyze the clinical value of in the diagnosis of early renal damage for diabetic patients.ResultsThe levels of serum Cys C and urinary RBP test results of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive rate of joint detection of serum Cys C and urinary RBP in the diagnosis of early renal injury in diabetes was significantly higher than that in single serum CysC test and urine RBP test, with significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionThe joint detection of serum Cys C and urinary RBP can provide reliable basis for the diagnosis of early renal damage for diabetic patients, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
