Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of targeted nursing in peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC).MethodsThe clinical effects of applying PICC combined with targeted nursing in 30 tumor patients admitted into our hospital from December 2015 to February 2017 February were retrospectively analyzed and were selected as the observation group. At the same time, the clinical effect of another 30 tumor patients in our hospital and were applied with PICC was selected as the control group. The incidence of complication were compared between two groups.ResultsThe incidence of complications(bleeding or infection of the puncture point and thrombosis)in the observation group(3.33%)was lower than that in the control group(30.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).ConclusionCombination of PICC and targeted nursing protects peripheral blood vessels, can observe and detect nursing problems in time, and taking effective measures can decrease and prevent bleeding or infection of the puncture point and thrombosis complications, avoids the pain caused by repeated puncture, provide a painless therapeutic pathway, and ensures the successful accomplishment of chemotherapy in cancer patients, which has a great adaptability in clinic.
