Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of PDCA circulation method in the management of nursing pathway of acute myocardial infarction. Methods A total of 72 patients with acute myocardial infarction were selected in 2019 from Department of Cardiology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. From January to June 2019,36 patients were listed as the control group and implemented with the routine acute myocardial infarction nursing pathway. From July to December 2019,36 patients were included in the experimental group. The experimental group was implemented with the PDCA circulation method, that was,to investigate the current status of the routine acute myocardial infarction nursing pathway, analyze the causes, and formulate a rectification plan, organize implementation, and inspect the management. The incidence of interventional adverse events after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),the score of health education awareness, and the satisfaction score of patients with nursing services were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of interventional adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of health education awareness in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction score of nursing service in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the management of acute myocardial infarction nursing pathway,PDCA circulation method can significantly reduce the occurrence of adverse events, improve nursing services and promote rehabilitation, and improve patients′ satisfaction.
