Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of relaxation exercise combined with music therapy on the psychological symptoms and rehabilitation of patients with chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic schizophrenia admitted to Jiujiang Fifth People′s Hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as subjects.According to the random lottery method,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine drug intervention,and the observation group was treated with relaxation exercise and music therapy on the basis of the control group.The scores of brief psychiatric rating scale(BPRS),inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation outcome scale(IPROS)and scale for the assessment of negative symptoms(SANS)before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Results Before the intervention,there was no significant difference between the BPRS,the IPROS and the SANS between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention,the BPRS score,IPROS score and SANS score of two groups were lower than those of before the intervention,and the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Relaxation exercises and music therapy can be used as auxiliary therapies for patients with chronic schizophrenia,which can effectively improve the psychological symptoms and rehabilitation effects of patients with schizophrenia.
