Clinical effect of non-invasive ventilation combined with aerosol inhalation of Ambroxol in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with respiratory failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of non-invasive ventilation combined with aerosol inhalation of Ambroxol on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure.Methods A hundred patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure admitted to Iron Coal General Hospital of Liaoning Health Industry Group,Liaoning Province from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into two groups,with 50 cases in each group.In the control group,non-invasive ventilation adjuvant therapy was used,and in the study group,aerosol inhalation of Ambroxol on the basis of the control group was added.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was recorded,and the changes of related indexes(including heart rate[HR],respiratory rate[RR],blood oxygen saturation[SaO2],arterial oxygen partial pressure[PaO2])before and after treatment and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the HR and RR of the study group were(93.82±10.37)times/min and(22.07±1.89)times/min,both lower than those of the control group of(119.28±18.47)and(28.81±1.98)times/min,and the SaO2 of the study group was(99.0±4.8)%,PaO2 of the study group was(66.07±2.97)mmHg,both higher than(79.0±2.2)% and(51.12±2.11)mmHg in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 96.0%,which was higher than that of the control group(76.0%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 12.0%,which was lower than 32.0% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilation combined with aerosol inhalation of Ambroxol therapy has a better clinical treatment effect for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure,and its safety is high,and it is worthy of widespread promotion.
