Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Thiatropium Bromide on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 90 patients with COPD admitted to Chenxinghai Hospital of Zhongshan City from March 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into two groups according to whether the patients agreed to use tiotropium bromide. The observation group of 48 cases were treated with Thiatropium Bromide, and the control group of 48 cases were not treated with Thiatropium Bromide. The pulmonary function indicators(forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1],forced vital capacity[FVC]and FEV1/FVC levels)and quality of life in both groups were compared before and after treatment. Results The time, intergroup and interaction compared among FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before the treatment, there were no statistical significance of the quality of life scores between the two groups(P>0.05).Six months after the treatment, the quality of life scores in both groups were higher than the group of before treatment, and the quality of life scores of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The early diagnosis of COPD and timely treatment with Thiatropium Bromide can effectively improve the Pulmonary function and improve the quality of life, thus it is worth promoting.
