Abstract:Objective To explore the application of Compound Kushen Injection in the treatment of rectal cancer patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods A total of 60 patients with rectal cancer in People′s Hospital of Yichun City,Jiangxi Province from December 2018 to August 2020 were selected as subjece and divited into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment, and the observation group received Compound Kushen Injection treatment. Both groups received continuous treatment for 6 weeks. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared after treatment. The immune function before and after treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group after treatment was 93.33%,higher than that of the control group of 66.66%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The peripheral blood CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ levels of patients of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, the peripheral blood CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ levels of the observation group after treatment were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The peripheral blood CD8+levels of patients in the two group after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the peripheral blood CD8+ level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of peripheral blood CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).During the treatment period, the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 30.00%,which was lower than 66.67% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Kushen Injection can improve the immune function of patients with rectal cancer, reduce the side effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and can improve the clinical efficacy of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which is safer.
