Abstract:Objective To explore the method of safety management of high-risk drugs in wards,so as to provide reference for clinical use.Methods The examination data of high-risk drug management in Department of Urology of our hospital from May 2015 to April 2017 was selected and divided by May 2016 into pre-management and post-management.The incidence of common drug management problems of pre-management and post-management was compared.Results After strengthened management of high-risk drugs in wards,the incidence of inconsistency with cardinality was 6.67%,lower than pre-management one(26.67%);the incidence of overdue expiration was 0,lower than pre-management one(16.67%);the incidence of un-standardized labeling was 6.67%,lower than pre-management one(36.67%);the incidence of mixed drug placement was 2.67%,lower than pre-management one (33.33%),all with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);the incidence of improper storage was 3.33%,lower than pre-management one(13.33%),without statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Strengthened management of high-risk drugs can improve the nurses and patients′medication safety,which can better protect the patients′life safety.
