Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of topical application of Carteolol Eye Drops in the treatment of infantile superficial hemangioma. Methods A total of 76 children with superficial hemangioma who were admitted to the Department of Dermatology, Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Ganzhou City from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects. The children were divided into 2 groups by the random number table method,38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with topical application of 5% Imiquimod Cream, and the observation group was treated with topical Carteolol Eye Drops. The treatment effect and the adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 6 months of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Carteolol Eye Drops for local topical treatment of infant superficial hemangioma have a definite clinical effect, can improve the cure rate, and have a low incidence of adverse reactions, and have high drug safety.
