Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multiparameter magnetic resonance image/transrectal ultrasound (mpMRI/TRUS) imaging cognitive fusion targeted puncture biopsy for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods A total of 130 patients with suspected prostate cancer admitted to the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of South China University of Technology from July 2017 to December 2020 were selected retrospectively as the research objects, after mpMRI scanning, TRUS conventional 12-needle systematic puncture biopsy and mpMRI/TRUS imaging cognitive fusion targeted puncture biopsy were performed. The diagnostic value of mpMRI/TRUS imaging cognitive fusion targeted puncture biopsy (specificity, sensitivity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value) was observed with the results of conventional 12-needle systematic puncture biopsy as the gold standard. Results The mpMRI/TRUS imaging cognitive fusion targeted puncture biopsy was 79.22% (61/77), sensitivity of 79.25% (42/53), accuracy of 79.23% (103/130), positive prediction of 72.41% (42/58) and negative prediction of 84.72% (61/72).Conclusion The diagnostic efficacy of mpMRI/TRUS imaging is high in medium and high risk prostate cancer and is worthy of clinical application.
