Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effect of high quality nursing in the treatment of severe pulmonary infection by sputum suction under fiberoptic bronchoscope. Methods A total of 92 patients with severe pulmonary infection treated in Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research object.They were divided into control group (46 cases) and observation group (46 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received high-quality nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The disappearance time of symptoms, length of hospital stay and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The cough disappearance time, wet rales disappearance time, and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing in the treatment of severe pulmonary infection by sputum suction through fiberoptic bronchoscope can promote the recovery of clinical symptoms, shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce complications and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
