Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of motivational interview(MI)on patients with schizophrenia(SZ).Methods Ninety-eight patients with SZ treated in Zaozhuang Mental Health Center from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as research subjects, and were divided into the control group(n=49)and the experimental group(n=49)by the random number table method. The control group was given routine intervention, and the experimental group was given MI on the basis of the control group. The self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score,self-rating depression scale(SDS)score and compliance before and after intervention in the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the SAS and SDS scores in the two groups(P>0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the compliance rate in the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the compliance rates in the two groups were higher than those before intervention, the compliance rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion MI can effectively improve the mental state and treatment compliance of patients with SZ,which is worthy of clinical application.
