Objective To analyze the clinical effect of thyroid stimulating hormone suppressive therapy in postoperative differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Methods A total of 66 patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma admitted to People′s Hospital of Shanting District in Zaozhuang City from March 2018 to April 2019 were selected as the study subjects.Random number table method was used to divide them into study group and routine group, with 33 cases in each group. The routine group was treated with thyroid hormone replacement therapy, while the study group was treated with thyroid stimulating hormone suppressive therapy. The total incidence, recurrence rate and metastasis rate of adverse reactions were compared and analyzed in the two groups. The contents of triiodothyronine, thyroxine, free triiodothyronine and free thyroxine before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the routine group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate and metastasis rate of the study group were lower than those of the routine group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no statistical significances in the contents of triiodothyronine, thyroxine, free triiodothyronine and free thyroxine between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the contents of triiodothyronine, thyroxine, free triiodothyronine and free thyroxine in study group were higher than those in routine group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the contents of triiodothyronine, free triiodothyronine and free thyroxine in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the thyroxine content in the study group was higher than that before treatment, and that in the routine group was lower than that before treatment, with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion Thyroid stimulating hormone suppression therapy in postoperative differentiated thyroid carcinoma can reduce patients′ adverse reactions, reduce the recurrence rate, and the metastasis rate is low, which is worthy of popularization and wide application in clinic.
