Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between work stress, sleep quality and mood of psychiatric nurses. Methods A total of 200 clinical first-line nurses in the Third People′s Hospital of Ganzhou from October 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the survey subjects by cluster sampling method. The work pressure, sleep quality and mood were assessed by self-made psychiatric nurses′ stress survey scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90), and the Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation among them. Results All dimensions of work stress of 200 nurses were positively correlated with sleep quality and mood (P<0.05). Conclusion The work stress, sleep quality and mood of psychiatric nurses are closely related. Corresponding intervention and improvement measures should be formulated in nursing management to reduce the work stress and improve sleep quality and mood of nurses.
