Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of local anesthesia with Lidocaine combined with Midazolam sedation in patients undergoing tracheoscopic examination. Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing bronchoscopy in the Fifth People′s Hospital of Ganzhou City from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as study subjects, and were divided into the reference group and the study group according to the random throwing method, with 30 cases in each group. The reference group was administered with Lidocaine local anesthesia, and the study group was sedated with Midazolam and Fentanyl on the basis of the reference group. The examination related conditions, physiological indexes at each moment, the total incidence of adverse events and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the time of full wakefulness between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time of the study group was shorter than that of the reference group, and the visual analogue scale(VAS)score was lower than that of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR)and respiratory rate(RR)at T1,T2 and T3 in control group were higher than T0,and the blood oxygen saturation(SpO2)level was lower than T0,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the study group,MAP and HR at moments T1,T2 and T3 were higher than those at moment T0,SpO2 level was lower than that at moment T0,and RR at moments T1 and T3 were higher than those at moment T0,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The MAP,HR and RR at T1,T2 and T3 in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the SpO2 level was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the study group(6.67%)was lower than that in the control group(26.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of the study group(96.67%)was higher than that of the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Local anesthesia combined with Midazole sedation has a significant effect on patients undergoing tracheal examination. It can maintain the stability of patients′ signs and reduce the risk of related adverse events, with high safety.
