Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Kangfuxin Liquid combined with Pantoprazole Sodium Enteric Capsules in the treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods A total of 88 patients with peptic ulcer who were treated in Huai′an Medical Area, General Hospital of Chinese People′s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command from December 2015 to March 2017 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into observation group (42 cases) and control group (46 cases) according to different treatment regimen. Control group was treated with Pantoprazole Sodium Enteric Capsules, and observation group was treated with Kangfuxin Liquid combined with Pantoprazole Sodium Enteric Capsules. In the observation group, there were 20 cases of gastric ulcer and 22 cases of duodenal bulb ulcer. In the control group, there were 22 cases of gastric ulcer and 24 cases of duodenal ulcer. The improvement time of various clinical symptoms (epigastric pain, abdominal distention, belching and acid reflux) was compared between the two groups. Clinical symptom scores of two groups were compared before and after treatment. The overall treatment effect of the two groups was compared. The treatment effect of duodenal bulb ulcer and gastric ulcer was compared between the two groups. The incidence of adverse reaction was compared between the two groups. The recurrence rate of ulcer in healed patients was compared between the two groups at 6 and 12 months of follow-up. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the improvement time of epigastric pain, abdominal distention, belching and acid reflux in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The scores of epigastric pain, abdominal distention, belching and acid reflux symptoms in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the scores of epigastric pain, abdominal distention, belching and acid reflux symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment, with statistical significances (P<0.05). The healing rate and overall effective rate of treatment in observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). After treatment, the cure rate and total effective rate of patients with duodenal bulb ulcer and gastric ulcer in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reaction between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05). At the 6th and 12th months of follow-up, the recurrence rates of ulcer in healed patients of observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquid combined with Pantoprazole Sodium Enteric Capsules has a good clinical effect in the treatment of peptic ulcer. It can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, shorten the healing time, reduce the recurrence rate, and have less adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
