Abstract:Objective To explore the application of nursing intervention in prevention of postpartum hemorrhage for puerperants undergoing natural childbirth.Methods Altogether 110 cases of puerperants undergoing natural childbirth who were diagnosed and treated at Dalian Municipal Women and Children′s Medical Center from September 2016 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two groups according to different nursing methods: the control group (n=55) adopted conventional nursing mode;the study group (n=55) adopted predictive nursing intervention.The postpartum hemorrhage rate, hemorrhage volume at different postpartum periods, and differences in subjective nursing experience were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).The hemorrhage volume in the study group at postpartum 2 and 24 h were less than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The excellent rate of subjective nursing experience of puerperants in the study group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Implementation of predictive nursing interventions for puerperants undergoing natural childbirth can effectively prevent postpartum hemorrhage, reduce the postpartum hemorrhage volume, and improve the patients′ subjective nursing experience, which is recommended as the first choice of nursing for puerperants undergoing natural childbirth.
