Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of artificial liver plasma exchange in the treatment of liver failure. Methods A total of 88 patients with liver failure who were admitted to the hospital fron March 2013and March 2019 were selected as the subjects. They were divided into group A(44cases)and group B(44cases)by the random number tablemethod.Groups A was given comprehensivemedical treatment, and group B were additionally treated with artificial liver plasma exchange on the basis of group A.The clinical effect, levels of liver function indicators and inflammatory factorswere compared between the two groups. Results After 2weeks of treatment, the improvement rate in group B was 75.00%,which was higher than that in group A (40.90%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),total bilirubin(TBil),and serum interleukin (IL)-17,IL-12,and IL-35in group B were lower than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of artificial liver plasma exchange is significant in the treatment of liver failure. It can effectively improve the liver function of patients and relieve inflammatory response.
