Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of digital radiography (DR) technology in health examination of inorganic dust operators in Jiangmen City.Methods Forty-one inorganic dust operators in Jiangmen City who had health examination in our hospital from January to June 2018 were selected as the research objects, and they were examined by both traditional high-KV photography and DR photography.The chest image quality and pneumoconiosis detection rate of the two methods were compared.Results After comparison, the photography quality of DR on chest was better than that of traditional high-KV chest radiograph, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The rate of excellent images using DR on chest was higher than that of the traditional high-KV chest radiograph, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The pneumoconiosis detection rate of DR chest radiograph was higher than that of traditional high-KV chest radiograph, with statistical significance (P<0.05).The pneumoconiosis grade determined based on DR chest radiography was better than that of traditional high-KV chest radiograph, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The chest radiograph of DR can be used for health examination of dust operators, and has good clinical value.
