Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of self-management theory based on individual and family in leukemia patients. Methods A total of 102 leukemia patients who were treated in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2018 were selected as study subjects, and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, 51 cases in each group. All patients were treated with chemotherapy. The control group was given routine nursing on the basis of chemotherapy. The observation group was given intervention based on personal and family self-management theory on the basis of the control group. The quality of life scale (SF-36) and self-perceived burden scale (SPBS) of the two groups were compared before and after 3 months of nursing, and the self-management effect (self-management behavior scale, emotion regulation self-efficacy scale [SRESE]) of the intervention was recorded. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in the quality of life score before nursing (P>0.05); the quality of life scores after nursing in the two groups were higher than those before nursing(P<0.05), and the quality of life scores after nursing in the observation group were higher than those in the control group the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After nursing, the mild rate of SPB in the observation group was 84.3%, higher than that in the control group for 64.7% (P<0.05); after 3 months of nursing, the level of each index of self-management behavior and the total score of scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Self-management theory based on individual and family can obviously improve the self-care ability, management effect and life quality of leukemia patients.
