Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of midwifery nursing on delivery quality of parturients. Methods A total of 106 healthy parturients admitted to our hospital from December 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the research objects, and divided into two groups by odd and even numbers grouping method. The control group (n=53) was given traditional delivery care, and research group (n=53) was given midwifery care, and the incidence of maternal and infant complications, childbirth outcomes, birth process and health status of newborns were compared. Results The incidence rates of postpartum hemorrhage, numbness and pain of lower limbs and neonatal respiratory distress syndrome in the research group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference between the two groups in incidence rate of postpartum depression (P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in natural delivery rate (P>0.05).The first, second and total stages of labor in the research group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The neonatal Apagr score in the research group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Midwifery nursing has prominent advantages in improving the quality of delivery. It can effectively prevent complications, improve the natural delivery rate, shorten the birth process and improve the health status of newborns. It is worth learning.
