Abstract:Objective To study the effect of motivational interviewing (MI) on blood pressure and pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with hypertension during pregnancy. Methods A total of 140 pregnant women with hypertension during pregnancy admitted to our hospital from January to December 2018 were enrolled. The random number table method was applied to divide them into control group and observation group, 70 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention treatment, while the observation group received routine intervention+motivational interviewing treatment.Differences in pregnancy outcomes and nursing satisfaction as well as changes in different indicators between the two groups of patients after different nursing interventions were observed. Results Different nursing interventions were performed in the two groups of patients, the incidences of cesarean section and intrauterine fetal distress in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (35.8%), the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The systolic pressure of the observation group was (121.2±1.5 mmHg), lower than that of the control group of(133.2±3.1) mmHg, the diastolic pressure of the observation group was (79.2±2.4) mmHg, lower than that of the control group of (90.1±3.1) mmHg, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The urea nitrogen of the observation group was (3.9±1.5) mmol/L, lower than that of the control group (6.1±2.1) mmol/L, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The creatinine of the observation group was (59.2±19.2) mmol/L, lower than that of the control group of (73.2±24.7) mmol/L, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The urine microalbumin of the observation group was (45.2±11.9) mmol/L, lower than that of the control group of (90.1±12.3) mg/L, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing total satisfaction of the observation group (97.1%) was higher than that of the control group (85.6%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions The intervention of motivational interviewing can be applied on pregnant women with hypertension to significantly improve the patients′ blood pressure and pregnancy outcomes. It is beneficial to improve the nursing satisfaction and it should be clinical promoted.
