Abstract:Objective To explore the application of comfortable nursing in children with upper respiratory tract infection. Methods A total of 200 children with upper respiratory tract infection who were admitted to our hospital from June 2017 to August 2018 were selected as study subjects. They were divided into observation group (n=100) and control group (n=100) according to the computer random method. The observation group used comfortable nursing and the control group used routinenursing. The comfort score and hospitalization time, complication rate, and family satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The environmental comfort, physiological comfort and psychological comfort scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.00%, lower than that in the control group of 26.00%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction of the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than that of the control group (80.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Comfort nursing has high application value in children with upper respiratory tract infection, which can not only improve the comfort of children, but also shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce the risk of complications and improve the satisfaction of family members. It is worthy of research and promotion.
