Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) combined with paravertebral in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture. Methods A total of 128 cases of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures from January 2016 to April 2018 in our hospital were selected as research objects.According to the patients′ odd or even hospitalization numbers, they were divided into observation group and control group,64 patients in observation group (even hospitalization number ) used percutaneous vertebroplasty combined with paravertebral, and 64 patients in control group (odd hospitalization number) used PVP alone. The total effective rate, operation time and visual analogue scale (VAS) score were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.9%,which of the control group was 93.8%,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The operation time of the observation group was (30.0±2.2) min, which of the control group was(28.0±3.1) min,the difference in operation time between the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05),and the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion PVP combined with paravertebral in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral can reduce the pentients′pain and improve their quality of lives, the clinical effect is more remarkable without increasing the operation time.
