Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of Propofol combined with Remifentanil anesthesia on dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting after thyroid surgery. Methods A total of 60 patients with thyroid surgery admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases) on the principle of computer randomization. Propofol combined with Remifentanil induced in the observation group. In the control group, Sevoflurane anesthesia was used. The incidence of headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting at different time points were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting were lower than those of control group after operation of 4 h and 8 h (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of dizziness, headache and nausea and vomiting between the two groups 12 h after operation (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of Propofol combined with Remifentanil in thyroid surgery can effectively control the occurrence of dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting after operation.
