Abstract：Objective To discuss the application value of psychological nursing for orphaned and disabled children in the welfare institutions.Methods A total of 80 orphaned and disabled children treated from November 2015 to November 2017 in our hospital were selected as subjects.Children were equally assigned to control group (n=40)and observation group(n=40).The control group was treated with the conventional nursing care,the observation group was treated with the psychological nursing interventions.The scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating fear scale and self-rating fear scale and total effective rate for two groups were compared.Results Before intervention,the SAS and self-rating fear scale scores for two groups were not significantly different(P＞0.05);after intervention,the SAS and self-rating fear scale scores for two groups were lower than before intervention,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the SAS and self-rating fear scale scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the total effective rate in the observation group(95.00%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(77.50%),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The psychological nursing rehabilitation can remarkably relieve their anxiety and fear,improve the life quality and increase the whole nursing effect.It shall be applied in the welfare institutions.
