Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ear acupoint seed embedding in the treatment of perioperative insomnia in department of orthopaedics.MethodsSixty patients with perioperative insomnia admitted to our hospital from January to March 2019 were selected as study objects and they were divided into the control group (30 cases) and observation group (30 cases) according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional guidance and acupoint massage.The observation group was given ear acupoint seed embedding on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,sleep quality and emotional state between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the total Pitts burgh sleep quality idex (PSQI) score between the two groups (P>0.05),after treatment,the total PSQI score of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.01).After treatment,the SAS and SDS scores of both groups decreased,and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion Ear acupoint seed embedding of traditional Chinese medicine can play an active role in improving sleep quality of patients with perioperative insomnia and alleviating patients′ bad mood.The effect is ideal and can be popularized and applied.
