Clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with motor imagination and in-cabin exercise in the treatment of cerebral infarction hemiplegia

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with motor imagination and in-cabin exercise in the treatment of cerebral infarction hemiplegia.Methods A total of 100 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia motor dysfunction diagnosed in our hospital from June 2016 to August 2018 were selected as subjects and randomly divided into treatment group(n=50)and control group(n=50).After the comprehensive treatment of patients in the two groups in the internal medicine department,all patients were treated with hyperbaric oxygen in a single pure oxygen chamber,and the treatment group was given the motor imagination therapy in the cabin.The motor function(upper limb Brunnstrom functional grading,lower limb Brunnstrom functional grading)and self-care ability (daily activity ability improved Barthel index score)were compared of the two groups before and after treatment.Results There were no significant differences in the Brunnstrom functional grading of the upper limb,the Brunnstrom functional grading of the lower limb,and the daily activity ability improved Barthel index score before treatment(P>0.05).The Brunnstrom functional grading of the upper limbs and the Brunnstrom functional grading of the lower limbs after treatment in the two groups were better than those before treatment,the daily activity ability improved Barthel index scores were higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Brunnstrom functional grading of the upper limbs and the Brunnstrom functional grading of the lower limbs after treatment in the treatment group were better than those in the control group,the daily activity ability improved Barthel index score was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The oxygen combined with motor imagination and in-cabin exercise therapy can improve motor function and self-care ability of patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia.
