Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effect of two-micron laser prostate vaporization enucleation and transurethral bipolar plasma prostatectomy in the treatment of large benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods A total of 110 patients with large benign prostatic hyperplasia who were treated in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the subjects. They were divided into control group (transurethral bipolar plasma prostatectomy)and observation group(two-micron laser prostate vaporization enucleation)by the random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The clinical indicators of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the postoperative hospital stay, indwelling catheter time and bladder irrigation time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).The hemoglobin level 1 h after surgery in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the operation time, prostate volume, residual urine volume, maximum urinary flow rate and international prostate symptom scores in the observation group compared with those of the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion The two-micron laser prostate vaporization enucleation can effectively improve the prognosis of patients with large benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is tantamount to transurethral bipolar plasma prostatectomy and is worthy of promotion.
