Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of inflammatory factors in children with acute enteritis. Methods Eighty-four children with acute enteritis admitted to our hospital from August 2016 to August 2017 were selected as the study group, and 84 healthy children in the same period were selected as the control group. The serum levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were compared between the two groups. The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in serum of children in the study group at different time points (7, 14, 21 days) after treatment were compared. The serum levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in children with infectious diarrhea and non-infectious diarrhea in the study group were compared. Results The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in the serum of the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in the serum of the study group were significantly lower after 14 days of treatment than after 7 days of treatment (P<0.05).The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in the serum of the study group after 21 days of treatment were significantly lower than those after 7 days and 14 days of treatment (P<0.05).The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in serum of children with infectious diarrhea in the study group were significantly higher than those of children with non-infectious diarrhea (P<0.05).Conclusion Inflammatory factors in children with infectious diarrhea are higher. The more severe the diarrhea is, the higher the level of inflammatory factors in the body.It provides a theoretical basis for future clinical treatment.
